Ok...so, our cat, Vader has this weird thing for bagels. I've woken up many a morning with our bag of bagels on the floor, punctured with teeth marks. We've even tried hiding them in one of the basket drawers next to our trash (if you've been to my house, you know what I'm talking about) and this morning I found the drawer pulled open, and the bagels gnawed. He LOVES them! It's like his catnip. Is there catnip in bagels? What is it about bagels (not any other bread, mind you) that a cat would take a liking to? I've tried googling it, but have no leads. I did find someone else's blog that has a cat with the same issue. hmmmm
Oh, and I'll publish Christmas pretty soon. I've been waiting on pictures, but I've been too busy playing Wii to download the said pictures from my camera. :)

Disney Day 4 - The Magic Kingdom

Back to the Magic Kingdom. We took the train straight to Frontier Land to go on Splash Mountain again with no wait. Pirates of the Carribean was next. We went to the new Tiki Room show. Very cute.
Grant loved all the playgrounds. This was the one under Splash mountain that we frequented quite often.
The longest line we waited in was to see the Disney princesses. 30 minutes. But so worth it. See that smile on Bryson's face! All the kids just wanted to see Aurora, their favorite princess. That pic is on my photopass, which I'll be sure to purchase soon.
The Indy Car races were next. All the kids got their chance behind the wheel. I can already tell you I'm not looking forward to 16.
Grant on Laplock. That's what's we called time out for Grant when he was going crazy. Like when we were on buses with no lapbelts or waiting for food like we were here at Tony's Italian Restaurant. Chris...you were right again. It was not great food. In fact. I had the yucks later that night and able to experience it again. Wasn't any better the second time.
Having dinner there, however, did put us in a prime spot for the parade that hit main street minutes after we left our plates...and we had super awesome service there. Thanks waitress Becky!
We headed back to Port Orleans Riverside so the kids could go to Downtown Disney to shop and mommy and Grant could sleep. They swam a little more and we all crashed hard.
Thus ends our fabulous trip. I would like to thank Karen Truelove and Chris Harper for all the insider tips that made things so much easier and more fun. Thank you, thank you!

Disney Day 3 - Animal Kingdom and Epcot
Day 3 had kind of a late start due to a very sick Bryson throwing up all the night before. So, we made it to Animal Kingdom around 10am and the park was absolutely packed! We managed a safari ride and lunch and were going to go on Expedition Everest but the ride broke down.
We were out of there by 1pm and back at the hotel for naps. Grumpy, grumpy children. All took naps. We woke up for another Character Dining experience in Norway at Epcot with 4 beautiful Disney Princesses. Dinner was great, except that Adam had contracted the sickies and couldn't down his gourmet meal.
After the dinner, the kids watched a Norwegian dramatization with Segreed and the Gnomish version of our Santa Clause. We wanted to see more countries, but the kids were more interested in Spaceship Earth and other Epcot attractions, so we headed back to the big Ball.
This photo was located in The Sea section. The kids enjoyed the Nemo ride. The cool rides had really long wait times, so we opted out and shopped while we waited for Illuminations to start.
Ah...the Beverly. Thanks Chris! Chris Harper warned us that the Beverly from Club Cool was mighty tasty. I made sure all the kids had a sip. :) Club Cool has Sodas from all over the world and you can taste test them for free. I reccomend the soda from Mexico. Yummy!

We started out in Adventure Land with the Jungle Cruise and the Magic Carpet Ride, followed by pictures with Jasmine and Aladdin.
Then as we entered Frontier Land, the kids had an amazing discovery...They LOVE rollercoasters! Splash Mountain, Thunder Mountain, Space Mountain were each ridden numerous times and the Goofy Rollercoater was even loved by little Grant himself. My favorite quotes of the day were during Space Mountain. "Mommy, it's not fast enough!" "It's like I'm sleeping."
For Lunch, we ate at the Crystal Palace with Pooh and friends. Another fabulous buffet. They even had Quinoa, mom!

Welcome to the Bell Family Disney Vacation. We arrived in Florida late Friday afternoon, exhausted, but ready to go...although Mom and Dad were not quite ready to tackle any parks, so we decided to stay at the resort and hit the pool. Thank you Karen for the suggestion! The kids loved it, although it was probably about 65 degrees, the pool was heated and they didn't freeze too badly.
So, day one began bright and early with a character dining experience at Hollywood Studio's Hollywood and Vine restaurant. The buffet breakfast was DElish! and the kids loved seeing and dancing with all their favorite playhouse disney characters.
Before we were seated for breakfast, Adam made sure to run and grab Fast Pass tickets for everyone to ride the new Toy Story Ride. So much fun! While we waited for our Fast Pass time slot, we took pictures with Buzz and Woody. In the line to take those pictures, there were plenty of photo ops to take advantage of. Here are a few...
We saw Stitch and Chip 'n Dale and stayed for a High School Musical show that was very entertaining. Indiana Jones had a pretty cool special effects show as well.
BUT...the best part of the whole trip happened when the kids discovered the Jedi training.
Josh, Nona and Bryson all discovered the force within as they learned the secrets of the Jedi. All came away with Padawan certificates which they treasure and take very seriously.
The day ended with Fantasmic. A truly awesome event filled with lots of lights and water...especially if you're in the very front row...which we were. :)
