Halloween

My kids are too cute. I love Halloween.
Josh: Wolverine or Logan
Nona: Lucy from Chronicles of Narnia
Bryson: Iron Man
Grant: A little Army dude

We went to the ward Fall festival last weekend. It was a little crowded with all three wards but super fun. I went dressed as I had been dressed all weekend as an urban dancing chick. I had been at Groove training and was actually listening to the music I was suppose to teach to the next day all that night.

We finally carved our pumpkin Halloween Day. Josh did most of it, so it's his pumpkin this year. Of course they had to pick the most difficult design in the book. I told Josh that we grew up without the design book. He was confused. "How did you carve your pumpkins, then?" ummm...creativity? Do kids have that any more?

We hung out with the Jorgenson's and had Pumpkin soup for dinner with Homemade bread. Met up with Slavka's family and Kylene for Trick or Treating around the best and fastest block ever in Seven Oaks. Then we went back to Arlynda's for Hot chocolate and homemade doughnuts...and maybe a little bit of candy.
...and this is about how much of my kids I've seen since then....

Josh-o-Lantern

Josh finally started losing his teeth...and now he won't stop. By Christmas he'll definitely be wanting his two front teeth. I was joking with him that he should paint his face orange and be a Jack-O-Lantern for Halloween. He didn't think it was that funny.

I been busy

So, most of you know I'm totally in love with working out. I teach a group fitness class called Centergy, which is a yoga/pilates class set to great music...which is actually not that easy...Marianne! :P jk
Anyway, I've been wanting to train to do another program and so I jumped at the chance when a training for Group Groove came to Edgewater, just 20 min away. woohoo! I love Groove! Luckily, my mom is still here so I got to go dancing all weekend with no worries. Is that even fair? There's a little latin, a little club and a hint of urban. Yes...even a little white girl like me can get a little down and dirty. If you click on the picture and go to the bottom of the page, you can get a sneak peak at the kind of moves I was working on. You can also go to the BTS website for more info on the other programs.
I am now going to bed! 3 days of straight dancing is a blast...but quite exhausting!!! and I teach Centergy tomorrow. Can't wait! :)

Josh is getting Baptized!

We have been looking forward to this day for a very long time. Joshua Bell is turning 8 on Nov 28th, 2008 and will be getting baptized! I have his baptism scheduled for Saturday, the 29th at 6pm. Everyone is invited. For those of you coming in from far off places (yes, that includes Utah), if another time or day works better, please let me know. We can do it Friday or Saturday.

Yay, Joshie!

Random things

Just some random update.

-I got my first set of contacts. Now I can see! yay!
-Our cat, Vader caught the mole that's been hacking up my front yard.
-Vader has also been "playing" with our turtle. Knocking her off her dock then watching her swim around, get back on, and then knocking her off again.
-Josh had his first sick day of 2nd grade
-trying to go more "green" using stuff with less chemicals
-totally blog-stalking everyone
-Enjoying not having RS on the brain ALL the time
-Josh is doing great with piano and playing ALL the time :)
-Nona is actually getting up on time and getting dressed and doing her chores without me yelling!!!
-Grant has started talking on his own. So cute. I'll have to record him saying "I Love You."
-Bryson is already asking me for a car. ALL day he whines, "Mommy! get me that car!" He's never happy, though. Before, it was "I want a Ben 10 watch!" He got one (birthday $) Then, "I didn't want a Ben 10 Watch! I want Iron Man!" Didn't give in to that one. Then, "I want a motorcycle man!" Made him clean all the walls, took him to the store, he got what he wanted. Now, he wants a car. sigh I told him, when he gets a job and can buy his own car, then he can have a car.
