Sorry, I haven't written for a while. I guess I have been busy. It's Fort Meade move in/move out time and I feel that every waking moment is spent rearranging visiting routes. It's done! Woohoo! well...at least until next month.
Anyway...back to theme songs. Oh, glorious theme songs. My little Boo Boo Bryson loves the cinema and now I'm beginning to think he loves the soundtracks even more. Before bed, while the other kids request primary songs, Boo makes Adam whistle the entire theme to Batman, Superman, Spiderman, etc. Lately, though I've heard the theme to Indiana Jones 24/7 and while it's a great composition, if John Williams were here now, I'd strangle him. :) I'm ever grateful for our house rule, "No singing at the table."

Can you believe, that was a house rule for us in my parent's home! Guess what, it's a rule in my house too! Whoever thought of it first should get a hero cookie!
That's hilarious about theme songs. Colin does the same thing: If I have to sing the theme to "Darkwing Duck" (anyone else remember DarkWing Duck? Hello early 90s!) ONE MORE TIME, I'm stranglin that blasted duck.
Ah, Ft Meade move in/move out time. I don't envy you at all! :-)
I DO remember Darkwing Duck! Wow...and Gummi Bears, Animaniacs, Duck Tales, My Little Ponies, Shera. Oh yes. It's amazing how they stick.
Would you believe there are 16 families moving this Summer?!!! I'm so sad! We are getting some great new families, though. Today is Kathy Talbot's last day. Sniff Sniff.
No singing at the table! That cracks me up =) We haven't had to make any rules like that yet but it will be funny when we do. Its good to finally hear from you ; )
yep...no singing at the table. Best rule EVAH!! Ha!
I couldn't have coped with out it!!
that last post was from mama! ha not alex!!
We don't have a no singing rule, but we do have a no whistling rule. Chris started doing it when Anissa couldn't and he was showing off. Now, it's hard to shut the boy up once he starts!
It'd be awkward for me to live in your basement for four years while cheyenne is in Japan all by himself. I think I'll go with him.
Besides...you could get rid of your cable at any moment, that would be too unstable for me. :)
Miss you!
