That pretty much sums it up. I get a call from my mom today and she asks me if I've talked to my dad recently.
No, I say.
Well, he got married 2 weeks ago.
WHAAAATT?????
So, dad, congrats. I love you. Next time, call me. Hopefully, there won't be a next time, but still.

Sounds kinda like my dad!!! They could be good friends. And how does your mom know?? I can tell there is a story behind the story. Have you even met her? This is too close to home...

My parents have an interesting relationship. They've been divorced 15 years but they're friends still and I guess they talk on the phone every so often. My mom figured he would have called me, my dad thought my mom was going to spread the word.
I have met my new step-mom. She's a sweetheart. She's Brazilian. Ooh, I think I might even have a picture of them together. I'll add it to the post when I get some time.
I'm not super upset he didn't tell me. It's one of those things I just expect to happen. :)
Wowza sister... I mean... yup... just wow. LOL
Good for him though, and I wish them well.
