Interpretations Please

Grant comes up to me today and says, "I want the Gay Part. The Gay Part of the woovie."

Should this worry me?

Anyone well versed in 3 year old language that could maybe interpret for me?

Lol I wish I could help =)

Hey... do you sell that Thinnerware? Such an awesome idea!

I don't sell Thinnerware, but my awesome friend Sarah Morris who used to be in the ward came up with the idea, made the product, and is now selling them. Did I mention she's awesome?

Oh wow... well cool. I have been wanting new dishes for the exact reason of portion control. We have GINORMOUS plates and bowls and while I love them, I always eat more than I should. It is such a great idea. I will probably have a hard time talking Tyler into a whole new set of dishes (when there is nothing wrong with ours) but I will try!

I think it depends on which woovie he's referring to. Then I could help you with what the gay part is.

This isn't his first reference to "the gay part" either. He was playing DS last night and screamed with delight, exclaiming, "Mommy LOOK, the Gay Part, the Gay Part!!!"

I have no clue. :)

Um we can think he means "happy". Gay means happy too you know... ;-)

Anya says "gay" but she uses it wrong. She think gay= stupid.
She'll say "that's really gay". I was confused what she meant and she said that gay meant stupid. I don't get it.

Well, if it's any consolation, I was school shopping with Ben and he saw a be-dazzled pair of sneakers--seriously, covered in rhinestones. He grabbed them and said, "Oh no you di-in't girlfriend! I must have these!"

It's probably a good thing Will wasn't with us or he might have had a heart attack then and there.

Awwww... Ariella I love you.

Have you asked your other kids what they think it means?
Other than that, I've got nothing.

Brandi...that's funny. lol

We're taking it to mean happy. I'll let you know if anything else makes "gay" status.

The only thing that I can think of that would makes sense the most is that he mispronounced good and is trying to let you know that the good part of the game or movie is on. But if you've heard him say the word good perfectly fine before then I'm totally wrong.

maybe gay translates into SCARY?! (it does for me anyway) two year old tongues coud definitely be meaning scary....possibly?
