Sorry, I haven't written for a while. I guess I have been busy. It's Fort Meade move in/move out time and I feel that every waking moment is spent rearranging visiting routes. It's done! Woohoo! well...at least until next month.
Anyway...back to theme songs. Oh, glorious theme songs. My little Boo Boo Bryson loves the cinema and now I'm beginning to think he loves the soundtracks even more. Before bed, while the other kids request primary songs, Boo makes Adam whistle the entire theme to Batman, Superman, Spiderman, etc. Lately, though I've heard the theme to Indiana Jones 24/7 and while it's a great composition, if John Williams were here now, I'd strangle him. :) I'm ever grateful for our house rule, "No singing at the table."

Behind the Boo
Bryson's nickname is Boo Boo for good reason. From the day he started moving, he was bumping into everything. I've never seen a kid fall down the stairs so much. He always had a bump on at least one side of his head. I was worried that something was wrong with him for a while, but the doctor said he was completely normal. hmmm
Anyway, as Boo has grown older he has found new ways to inflict pain on himself. Adam took all three boys camping last weekend and he managed to come home with poison oak all over his face and 2 ticks. The other boys were fine. Adam said Bryson was rolling around everywhere, so it wasn't a huge shocker. Sigh...gotta love the wild ones.

Interesting Bell Family Fact
It seems that every year, everyone in our family has their birthday on the same day of the week. Everyone, but me, of course! Adam's is this Friday; Grant, Friday June 13th; Bryson, Friday Aug 22nd; Josh, Friday Nov 28th; and Nona, Friday Jan 16th. Mine is on a Tuesday...sigh. At least I know to plan for weekend birthday parties.

More injuries
I guess with 4 boys in the house, I should start getting used to bumps, bruises, breaks, and such, but the sight of blood still makes me woozy.
Just this Sunday, Bryson came running to our pew from the foyer. I caught the words, "mommy...Grant...Blood!" and I was out the door. Grant tripped and landed forehead first into a brick corner piece of wall. All is well now, but man, head wounds bleed.

Obsessions
Every person is unique to his or her own obsession. Here are my family's obsessions starting from the youngest.
Grant: Cords of any kind. He loves to plug things in, turn things on, etc. The more expensive the equipment, the better. If he sees a hint of a cord, he screams and sticks his arms out until you give it to him.
Bryson: Can we say Spiderman? Loves superheros and movies, but also loves sports and anything that involves a ball.
Viona: Fashion, not necessarily the stuff I go for, but she loves purses, wearing all the same color (for example, white shirt, white skirt, white shoes, white hair band, white purse...you get the idea). Loves America's Next Top Model. Just recently she got her ears pierced, so the fashion moves to jewelry. Please notice the ears and say something to her. I know they're small but it's a really big deal for her. :)

Josh: Obsesses over rules and order. You've probably noticed that he rarely steps a toe out of line. He makes sure to let me know when Nona and the boys aren't following the rules as well. But, he's got to be the best, the fastest, etc. A tantrum erupts otherwise, but I hear he only does that for me.
Me: I, of course, am a gym rat. Obsessed with the gym! Yay! I'm obsessed with my Mac, too. Love it! Love the internet and the way it keeps me connected to everyone. Thank you blogspot! Why can't everyone do it?
Adam: Obsessed with moving. The boy can't sit still, and when you read this honey, you know it's true! This week he finished putting gutters up under our deck despite the whole, not suppose to lift the arms higher than the head thing. *sigh* I wish I could make him sit still. I do love his projects, though. Our house is beautiful thanks to him. We also get to eat foods I would never dare to try thanks to him. This week we made sushi at home. So fun! He's also obsessed with making me happy, which I love, too. I'm so proud of him.

Now it's your turn. What are you obsessed with?
