This life is the time for MEN to prepare to meet God

I've decided that where it says in the scriptures that "Man" should do this and that...it really is just for men. Is it really fair for women to have to climb to such expectations? Don't we suffer enough? God says don't eat the fruit. Eve eats the fruit. God declares biological warfare and hits us with the M-bomb (mentruation). Oh, hey wait, Adam ate some too...ah ok...go till the earth and pull weeds?!!! Come now...we women know we do that part, too. I don't blame Eve...not at all. I just figure God wanted to torment men a little more by giving him crazy hormonal women. But, where does that leave us?

This being said after a whole week of crazy PMS (yes...that's why the bipolar posts) and now I know I have to endure a whole week of painful cramps and heavy bleeding. 2 weeks of my month. Freaking HALF of my month, EVERY month until my body finally decides it wants to stop producing those fun little eggs. Then menopause...which doesn't sound fun at all. Oh, or I guess I could get pregnant again. hmmm...no, really getting fat for 9 months and then enduring heartburn, leg cramps, constant peeing, hours of labor, and then at the end of it all...another BABY! Nah...cramps it is.

Ok...where do the men have it bad? They get to leave the family for most of the day and work. I get that that can be a stressful thing to earn a living for the family. I do. I have sympathy for that especially when work is hard to come by. It can be tedious and boring and they have to learn to work well with others, blah blah blah. yeah...I've seen a couple episodes of the office. And for our military men...yes, their life is on the line in many cases. Which would scare the crap out of me. But, it doesn't seem to phase them. Ok, not all men, but I've got a manly man and I don't see fear, I see excitement, adventure, the thrill of new experiences, and of course, "I get to play with guns and jump out of airplanes and travel the world!" (ok maybe he didn't say that exactly...) Back to my point...where do they have it bad? What is making it hard for them in this life???

I'll tell you what their challenge is. It's what has been tormenting them from the very beginning. Eve, women, US! WE are their ultimate down fall. Think about it. What do the men get chastized for? Pornography (naked women), Beating their wives (the woman made me do it), having affairs (the woman wouldn't put out...I had to get it somewhere), being in debt (the woman's out shopping), drinking (the woman's driving me crazy), oh I can go on and on.

So, really, it's not fair to make us, as women, face the judgments of God. We do our part. We make the babies and care for them and teach them despite that the fact that we're CRAZY and unbalanced half the time we're doing it. In God's cruel, or should I say ingenious way, he inflicted men, with not only noxious weeds, but with us. They had to stay with us. They had to leave the Garden and enter a world where they would forever be tormented with our beauty, stubborness, and bipolar ways. Poor men. You know this started out as a rant to justify why we have it bad...and now I just pity those poor men.

Quick Question (It's about cooking)

Because you all know I don't do that. :)

I need help. Our pots and pans have run their course and we're currently looking for new ones. I'm willing to spend a little dough to get some nice ones. Any ideas? Does anyone just LOVE their cookware and want to share where they got it?

Requirements:

Pans must not warp - I like all edges of my pans firmly upon the stove.
I'm thinking I like non-stick, but Teflon kind of scares me
they can be put on the dishwasher (not a must, but a nice option)

I love Mondays!

I must sound like I'm bipolar. Yesterday, I was a wreck. Today, I'm super happy!

Monday's are my play days. I have lunch at my house and I open it up to all my friends to come, bring food and let their kids play. I love having people over. I've had a smile on my face almost all day because of it. Having people around is like a drug to me. My happy pills. :)

Anyway, if you came today, Thank you! You totally made my day! Next time I'll take pictures so I can post them.

No Prize...sorry!

Ok...I've been feeling really down lately. It might have something to do with me PMSing and Adam being away, but I need to laugh in the worst kind of way.

So, I'm not offering a prize or anything, but if you think of something you want to share that will make me laugh or at least put a smile on my face...that would be awesome.
